The First Presbytery in AmericaPresbyterianism was a part of the fabric of our nation 136 years before the 1776 birth-of-this-nation date. The first Presbyterian meeting houses were erected on Eastern Long Island beginning in 1640. As early as 1672 homes of Presbyterians in the present Maryland counties of Somerset, Wicomico and Worcester were meeting places for church services. Read more...

Here Comes the Moderator!
Cynthia Bolbach, newly installed Moderator of the General Assembly (PCUSA) will be our guest for the 300th Anniversary Celebration of Pencader Presbyterian Church on Sunday afternoon, September 26.
We will enjoy a glorious afternoon as we honor our faithful past, practice grand hospitality and renew our commitment to a growing future. It doesn't get much better than this! To God be all glory, great things God continues to accomplish.
