October Health Ministry - While the rest of the world is celebrating Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we want to bring awareness to the topic of stroke this month, as it frequently touches lives all around us ... our family, friends and within our community. Stroke is the SECOND leading cause of death in the United States, and around 795,000 people have a stroke each year--- which is about one stroke every 40 seconds. If you have high blood pressure, high cholesterol, diabetes, obesity, or smoke, YOU are at risk. Do you and your family know the warning signs?
