Prevention of Misconduct Training
In accordance with New Castle Presbytery’s Prevention Policy:
-
Pastors currently in the presbytery and are up-to-date on their boundaries training requirements are only required to participate in renewal opportunities every three years.
-
Pastors entering the presbytery need to show proof of having completed boundary training within the last three years. If pastors entering the presbytery have completed boundary training elsewhere within the last three years, they are not required to complete the “basic” training and enter our three year rotation.
-
Those entering the process as inquirers and candidates are required to complete a “basic” training as an initial requirement and then may stay current with renewal modules.
-
Pastoral leaders who have become significantly delinquent in their training, defined as two or more years out of compliance, will be required to re-take the “basic” training.
